Position : Vice President – Commercial


Vice President – Commercial

You'll be directly responsible for overseeing a wide array of functions, including supply chain management, business development initiatives, pricing strategies, contract negotiations, general administration, IT operations, and even our branding activities.


What You'll Do:


  • Lead Commercial Strategy:

    Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy that directly supports our core business objectives.
  • Navigate Regulations:

    Serve as the primary liaison with key governmental bodies like the

    Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT)

    and customs, ensuring smooth and compliant operations.
  • Optimize Financial Performance:

    Take charge of pricing, contracts, and margin optimization to maximize profitability.
  • Secure Key Deals:

    Lead negotiations for crucial commercial deals and long-term agreements, ensuring the best outcomes for the company.
  • Foster Collaboration:

    Work hand-in-hand with our operations, finance, legal, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless, end-to-end execution of all commercial initiatives.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve:

    Continuously monitor market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Build and Lead:

    Recruit, mentor, and inspire a high-performance commercial team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous growth.


What You'll Bring:


  • Education:

    An

    MBA in Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field

    is a must. An

    Engineering degree

    is highly preferred.
  • Experience:

  • 18+ years of progressive experience

    in commercial roles in metal industry,
  • At least

    5 years in a senior leadership position

    within a commercial function.
  • Proven Success:

    A strong history of driving sales growth, expertly managing contracts, and successfully implementing commercial strategies.
  • Industry Knowledge:

    Experience in sectors such as manufacturing, engineering, or

    EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction)

    is essential.
