Position Overview:-
The Vice President (Civil & PEB Construction) will provide strategic direction and operational leadership for both civil construction projects (residential & commercial buildings) and PEB projects (industrial sheds, warehouses, factories, logistics parks, etc.). This role is responsible for driving project execution, ensuring profitability, building client relationships, and maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance. The VP will play a pivotal role in expanding the company’s presence across both sectors.
Key Responsibilities:-
Strategic Leadership
Define and execute business strategies for civil construction and PEB verticals.
Explore new markets, partnerships, and growth opportunities in real estate, industrial, and infrastructure sectors.
Align all projects with the company’s long-term vision and profitability goals.
Project Management & Operations
Oversee the entire lifecycle of projects: planning, design coordination, execution, monitoring, and handover.
Ensure on-time delivery within approved cost and quality benchmarks.
Standardize and streamline SOPs for both civil works and PEB fabrication/erection.
Implement modern technologies (BIM, modular construction, design automation for PEB).
Business Development & Client Management
Lead bidding, tendering, and negotiations for mixed projects (buildings + PEB).
Establish and maintain strong relationships with developers, industrial clients, architects, and consultants.
Drive customer satisfaction and ensure repeat/expanded business opportunities.
Financial & Commercial Management
Approve budgets, cash flows, and project profitability reports.
Monitor margins across both verticals and drive cost optimization.
Negotiate contracts with vendors, subcontractors, and steel/PEB suppliers.
Compliance, Safety & Quality
Ensure all civil and PEB projects comply with local building codes, design standards, and statutory requirements.
Promote and enforce a strong safety culture across sites and fabrication yards.
Conduct quality audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Leadership & People Development
Lead, mentor, and motivate teams across both verticals (civil engineers, architects, project managers, PEB design/erection teams).
Drive cross-functional collaboration between civil and PEB divisions.
Establish succession planning and leadership pipelines.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
18–20+ years of experience in construction, with proven expertise in residential/commercial projects and PEB.
Successful track record in delivering large-scale buildings, industrial PEB structures, and mixed-use developments.
Strong commercial, contractual, and financial management skills.
In-depth knowledge of civil construction methodologies, PEB systems (fabrication, erection, QA/QC), and regulatory codes.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
