Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day vessel operations in line with Charter Party (CP) agreements.
• Handle stowage planning and finalize cargo intake to ensure optimal space utilization.
• Serve as the first point of contact for ship owners, customers, and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate bunker arrangements and optimize consumption for period vessels.
• Monitor vessel performance and work to reduce operational costs.
• Approve release of Bills of Lading (BL).
• Maintain updates in IMOS (Integrated Maritime Operations System).
• Coordinate with the administration team for issuance of initial freight invoices.
• Pass all cargo documents to the accounts operations team for laytime calculation and final freight invoicing.
• Collaborate with the finance team to follow up on freight payments.
  

✅ Must-Have Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in vessel operations.
• Strong knowledge of CP terms, stowage planning, and maritime documentation.
• Experience working in hybrid or office environments (initial 3 months office-based training is mandatory).
• Familiarity with systems like IMOS and freight documentation processes.
  

Nice to Have

• Exposure to bunker management and cost optimization strategies.
• Understanding of laytime calculations and demurrage handling.
• Strong coordination skills across finance, admin, and operational teams.

• Hybrid Model: Candidate must work from the office for the first 3 months as part of training.
