‘FACOR’ a unit of Vedanta Limited, is one of India’s leading producer and exporter of Ferro Chrome, an essential ingredient to produce stainless steel and specialty steels. It is a fully Integrated business of 150 KTPA Ferro-Chrome production capacity with 1.65 MTPA ROM Production along with 6 Own Mines and a 100 MW Power Plant. With 4X growth vision for Ferro Chrome production operating both at open cast and underground mines and 1.5 MTPA Capacity Chrome Ore Beneficiation Plant, the Organization provides exciting growth prospects for aspiring young leaders and high potentials to take up Significant Leadership roles.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Devising strategies for ordering various packages, contract construction, performance and legal aspects till contract closure.
  • Drive and maintain continuous engagement with key business partners and contract performance management to ensure quality results & complete the projects in defined timelines.
  • Focus on ordering strategies, ordering on E2E responsibility, best commercial practices and policies and assessing business risks.
  • Directly undertake crucial functions including sourcing, evaluating and selecting suppliers, developing/ negotiating supply contracts and timeliness of materials and services supplied.
  • Adequate budget and plan resources toward procurement, implement cost saving initiatives, drive ESG and automation initiatives in the Project and meet the business objectives.
  • Develop, negotiate, support, and manage national and global contracts with suppliers in line with stakeholder/business needs and sound contracting structures and terms.


Desired Attributes:

  • Minimum 10 yrs of experience in handling large Project commercials.
  • Good Techno Commercial knowledge with strong business acumen and understanding of Project ordering on EPC/LSTK basis. Should have good communication, analytical and negotiation skills.
