Job Designation: Vendor Manager

Location: Goa, India
Languages Required: Malayalam, Hindi & Tamil

Job Summary

As a Vendor Manager in the tourism industry, you will play a crucial role in managing our vendor network, negotiating profitable deals, and fostering long-term, smooth business relationships. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build and grow their careers in the tourism and vendor management domain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Vendor Relationship Management – Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing vendors while exploring new partnerships to expand the network.
  • Negotiation & Contracting – Negotiate favorable terms and contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality service delivery.
  • Performance Monitoring – Track vendor performance against agreed service levels and take corrective actions where necessary.
  • Quality Assurance – Ensure all vendors meet company standards for quality, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.
  • Conflict Resolution – Address and resolve vendor-related issues promptly and effectively.
  • Compliance – Ensure vendor compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, including health and safety standards.
  • Reporting & Analysis – Generate reports on vendor performance, market trends, and opportunities for improvement.

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary: ₹18,000/- (plus incentives of ₹2,000–₹5,000).
  • Training: The first month will be considered training.
  • Stipend: Upon successful completion of training, candidates will receive ₹18,000/- as stipend.

This role is the starting point of a long-term career ladder:

  • Vendor Manager (VM): Initial role with full training and performance monitoring.
  • VM Leader: Promotion opportunity after 12 months of consistently high performance and successful completion of 6-month Leadership Training. Includes pay hike and added privileges.
  • Regional Service Manager: Next-level promotion for excellent performance in customer support under leadership, with a minimum 1.5x salary hike and additional privileges.
