We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chip Level Laptop and Mobile Service Executive to join our expanding team at our Noida branch.

Job Summary:

The Chip Level Laptop and Mobile Service Executive will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and performing intricate component-level (chip-level) repairs on a wide range of laptops and mobile devices. This role requires a deep understanding of electronics, circuit diagrams, and advanced soldering techniques. The ideal candidate will be a highly technical individual with a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

* Chip Level Diagnostics & Repair:

* Perform in-depth diagnosis of hardware issues on laptop motherboards and mobile device PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards) down to the component level.

* Identify faulty ICs (Integrated Circuits), capacitors, resistors, coils, and other discrete components.

* Execute precise soldering and de-soldering of surface-mount devices (SMD) and BGA (Ball Grid Array) components using specialized equipment (e.g., BGA rework stations, hot air guns, microscopes).

* Trace circuits and analyze schematics to pinpoint faults and develop effective repair strategies.

* Component Replacement:

* Replace faulty chipsets, power ICs, charging ICs, display ICs, audio ICs, and other critical components on motherboards and PCBs.

* Repair/replace damaged ports (USB, HDMI, charging ports), connectors, and flex cables.

* Troubleshooting & Testing:

* Conduct comprehensive testing after repairs to ensure full functionality, stability, and performance of the device.

* Utilize diagnostic tools and software to verify repairs and identify any residual issues.

* Documentation & Reporting:

* Maintain accurate records of all repairs performed, including components replaced, time spent, and diagnostic findings.

* Generate clear repair reports for customer reference and internal tracking.

* Software & Firmware Troubleshooting (Basic):

* Assist with basic software troubleshooting, operating system reinstallation, and firmware flashing where related to hardware issues.

* Customer Interaction:

* Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair estimates, progress, and technical explanations in a clear and understandable manner.

* Inventory Management:

* Manage and maintain an organized inventory of spare parts and components required for chip-level repairs.

* Stay Updated:

* Continuously research and stay updated with the latest advancements in laptop and mobile technology, repair techniques, and diagnostic tools.

* Adherence to Standards:

* Ensure all repair work is carried out in compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

* Diploma or ITI certification in Electronics, Computer Hardware, or a related technical field.

* Proven experience (minimum 2-4 years) in chip-level repair of laptops and mobile phones.

* In-depth knowledge of electronic components, circuit diagrams, and troubleshooting methodologies.

* Proficiency in advanced soldering techniques (SMD, BGA rework) and the use of relevant tools (multimeter, oscilloscope, hot air station, soldering iron, microscope, etc.).

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex hardware faults.

* Familiarity with various laptop brands (HP, Dell, Lenovo, Asus, Acer, etc.) and popular mobile device brands (Samsung, Xiaomi, Vivo, Oppo, Apple, etc.).

* Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, Android, iOS) and their interaction with hardware.

* Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.

* Good communication and customer service skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills (Bonus Points):

* Experience with data recovery from damaged devices.

* Knowledge of networking basics.

* Certifications in mobile or laptop repair.
