Job Description

We’re Hiring: Junior UI Designer (0–1 year experience)

Phionike

What you’ll do:

Design clean, functional user interfaces for web & mobile
Translate wireframes into polished, high-fidelity screens
Explore
complex and gamified UI
(dashboards, leaderboards, trackers)
Sketch and ideate multiple visual directions before finalising
Work daily in
Figma
(components, variants, auto-layout, design systems)

What we’re looking for:

Strong visual design foundations → grids, typography, colour, hierarchy
Ability to sketch ideas quickly (on paper or digital)
Creative mindset to design playful or gamified experiences
Good Figma proficiency and eagerness to learn fast
A portfolio (personal projects, case studies, or conceptual work is welcome)

Bonus points for:

Motion/interaction design interest
Side projects (Dribbble, Behance, hackathons)

How we’ll evaluate:

Along with your portfolio, we’ll give you a short design assignment to check:

Visual ability (typography, hierarchy, colour)
Creativity (sketching + gamified UI)
Figma craft (speed & structure)
