Position Overview

US Mortgage Loan Quality Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Prioritize daily workflow to meet closing deadlines and manage pipeline effectively
• Order and follow up on required verifications and documentation, ensuring compliance with timeframes
• Review income documentation including Paystubs, W2s, Bonus/Commission, Alimony/Child Support, and Rental Income
• Communicate loan file status with internal and external stakeholders
• Escalate potential fraud cases to Credit Manager or Risk Management
• Deliver decisions (approval, suspense, denial) within SLA timelines
• Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism
• Work independently while collaborating with supervisors to resolve complex issues
• Manage high loan volumes with strong time management and organizational skills

Qualifications

• Minimum

  1 year of experience

  in U.S. Residential Mortgage, preferably in Pre/Post-close audit
• Strong knowledge of mortgage guidelines and documentation standards
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to a dynamic work environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable working in a paperless environment
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including night shifts and weekends
