Role Overview:

US Admissions Counselors


Key Responsibilities :

  • Advise students on building a balanced US college list aligned with academic, personal, and financial fit.
  • Guide students through the Common App, UC applications, and other US-based platforms.
  • Support students with timelines, recommendation letters, and extracurricular positioning.
  • Provide feedback on essays, activity lists, and personal statements.
  • Help students craft a strong application narrative connecting academics, projects, and passions.
  • Support students in building a cohesive and competitive academic and extracurricular profile.
  • Mentor students in developing impactful passion projects that reflect their interests and goals.
  • Guide students in crafting a strong personal narrative aligned with their college application strategy.


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Lead high-stakes application strategy for Ivy League and highly selective colleges.
  • Conduct in-depth profile evaluations and long-term planning from grades 9–12.
  • Mentor Junior Counselors and support internal training and knowledge sharing.
  • Liaise with parents and leadership for progress updates and strategic decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving US admissions trends, test-optional policies, and institutional priorities.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong understanding of the US undergraduate admissions process, especially holistic review.
  • Experience advising students on personal branding, essay writing, and extracurricular depth.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Empathy, reliability, and a student-first approach.


Qualifications (Counselor – Full-time):

  • 1 - 4+ years of experience in US college counseling or admissions advising.
  • Proven track record of successful placements into competitive US universities.
  • Strong strategic thinking, presentation skills, and client management ability.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in education, counseling, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with the Common App and US admissions landscape.
  • Strong organizational skills and willingness to learn and grow within the role.
  • A degree in education, psychology, communications, or related fields is preferred.


Payout - 20k to 50k depending on position experience
