Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Coding Mentor. The Coding Mentor will be responsible for guiding and teaching students through interactive online sessions. Tasks include preparing and delivering coding lessons, providing feedback, assisting students with coding projects, and helping to foster an engaging and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java
• Experience in teaching or mentoring students, especially in an online setting
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts in a way that is easy to understand
• Patience and passion for working with children
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Familiarity with educational technology tools and platforms
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Education, or related field is preferred
• Experience in developing curriculum and lesson plans is a plus
