About the Role:

US Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day accounting operations for US clients
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and general ledgers
• Perform bank reconciliations, journal entries, and manage AP/AR
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and applicable standards
• Coordinate with US teams and clients for financial reporting
• Assist with audits and prepare required documentation
• Maintain confidentiality and security of financial data

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Minimum 2+ year of experience

  in US accounting
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accounting standards
• Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
• Proficient in MS Excel and data analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
• Comfortable working night shift (6:30 PM – 3:30 AM IST)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with CPA firms or US clients
• Knowledge of US tax procedures (a plus)
• CPA or equivalent certification (preferred, not mandatory)
