US Accounting Executive

As a US Bookkeeping Executive working for one of our esteemed clients in the education sector, your role will involve maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with US bookkeeping standards. You will be responsible for reconciling bank statements, preparing financial reports periodically, supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, and collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure the timely completion of accounting tasks. Additionally, you will be required to communicate effectively with US-based clients and teams during night shift operations. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with US bookkeeping standards. - Reconcile bank statements and prepare financial reports periodically. - Support month-end and year-end closing activities. - Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure the timely completion of accounting tasks. - Communicate effectively with US-based clients and teams during night shift operations. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline. - Minimum of 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or accounting (preferably with US clients). - Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar tools). - Strong understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation processes. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. - Willingness to work on night shifts to align with US business hours.
