US Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced U.S. Accountant to manage accounting operations in compliance with U.S. GAAP and federal/state regulations. This role includes bookkeeping, financial reporting, tax preparation, and support during audits for U.S.-based entities or clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and maintain financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP.
• Process payroll and ensure tax compliance with IRS and state-level regulations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Assist in U.S. federal and state tax filings, including 1099s, W-2s, and sales tax returns.
• Coordinate with external CPAs, auditors, and tax consultants as needed.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and internal controls.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably with U.S.-based clients or organizations.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IRS regulations, and tax laws.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
