UPS industrial Technician for QATAR

About The Opportunity

• Perform preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance on industrial Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems to ensure continuous critical power availability.
• Diagnose and repair power-electronics faults in UPS modules, rectifiers, inverters and control boards; replace consumables and faulty components.
• Conduct battery inspections, capacity testing, equalisation, replacement and maintain detailed battery health records and lifecycle reports.
• Commission, test and integrate UPS with STS/ATS, diesel generator sets, PDUs and site power distribution; execute load and transfer tests.
• Maintain maintenance logs, spare-parts inventory, calibration records and ensure timely escalation of critical faults to engineering leads.
• Adhere to site HSE, permit-to-work and lockout/tagout procedures; support shutdowns and coordinate with multidisciplinary contractors and site teams.

Additional Candidate Qualifications

• Minimum 3–7 years’ hands-on experience maintaining industrial UPS and battery systems in commercial/industrial environments (documented in CV).
• Valid electrical safety and site HSE certifications (e.g., NFPA 70E, permit-to-work, working-at-height) preferred.
• Willingness to relocate to Qatar for on-site rosters and ability to undertake pre-departure medicals and Gulf visa processing.
• Good English communication for on-site coordination; ability to follow technical drawings and test procedures.
