As the Head of EB Placement at Edme Insurance Brokers in Mumbai, you will play a crucial role in managing quotes and placements for new business as well as renewals. It will be your responsibility to stay updated with industry trends, insurance products, and regulatory changes while ensuring that your team is informed about these updates. Utilizing your network and relationships, you will gather market intelligence and share insights with your team proactively. Periodically reviewing processes and SOPs to maintain quality control, you will also work on automating the end-to-end placement process, including implementing maker-checker at each stage. Analyzing Gap Analysis reports and conducting Industry Benchmarking will be essential to provide valuable insights to clients and insurers. Building strong relationships with insurance companies, especially senior management, will enable you to secure competitive quotes and favorable terms in a timely manner. You will collaborate with the sales teams to provide technical inputs, respond to client queries, and present Gap Analysis findings during client visits. Your role will also involve customer retention and revenue generation by liaising with insurers, following standardized renewal processes, and conducting training sessions for stakeholders. Effective stakeholder relationship management and strategic business placement will be key to maximizing revenue. System development for process automation and operations management will be another aspect of your responsibilities. Identifying manual processes, collaborating with the IT team, and ensuring the team is trained to use the new system efficiently are vital for enhancing operational efficiency. Maintaining process compliance, generating accurate MIS reports, and overseeing team management will be essential components of your role. Establishing performance metrics, driving engagement, and providing training opportunities for team members are crucial for achieving business objectives and maintaining a motivated team.
