Client-Facing Delivery Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Client Communication & Escalation Handling

  • Serve as the

    primary point of contact

    for clients regarding delivery and resource fulfillment.
  • Communicate with confidence and clarity to

    instill client trust

  • Proactively

    manage client expectations

    , handle concerns, and step in during escalations with poise and professionalism.
  • Ensure timely updates, follow-ups, and reporting on deliverables.

Requirement Gathering & Understanding

  • Participate in client discussions to

    understand technical and functional needs

  • Translate complex client requirements into actionable points for internal teams.
  • Clarify ambiguities up front to avoid miscommunication downstream.

Internal Coordination with Recruiters & Teams

  • Work closely with the

    tech recruitment team

    to ensure they clearly understand the job requirements.
  • Provide comprehensive role briefings and

    ensure alignment between client needs and sourcing strategies

    .
  • Review and validate candidate profiles before submission to clients.

Team Allocation & Delivery Planning

  • Assign the right resources to the right projects based on skillset, availability, and client expectations.
  • Continuously

    track resource utilization and adjust allocations

    as needed to maintain delivery quality.

Onboarding & Delivery Readiness

  • Ensure selected candidates are

    smoothly onboarded

    , with minimal risk of last-minute backouts.
  • Collaborate with recruiters and client-side teams to complete all onboarding formalities in time.
  • Prepare and maintain and onboarding checklists.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in

    client delivery, technical staffing, or IT services

    .
  • Excellent

    verbal and written communication skills

    must be confident in direct client conversations.
  • Strong understanding of

    technical roles, skills, and requirements

    (especially in IT).
  • Experience coordinating with

    recruitment and technical teams

    .
  • Proven ability to manage

    multiple accounts and stakeholders

    simultaneously.
  • Proactive attitude with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience handling

    mid to large enterprise clients

    .
  • Exposure to

    contract staffing, RPO, or managed services models

    .
  • Prior experience using

    ATS/CRM tools

    and managing pipelines.
