UI/UX Designer II

As a Product Designer at RealPage, you play a crucial role in enhancing the relationship between landlords and renters by creating value through user-centered design methodologies. You will collaborate with a product manager and a development lead to guide the product development lifecycle. Your responsibilities include extracting requirements from customer pain points, leading user interviews, documenting insights gained, and prioritizing actionable solutions. You will also be involved in designing workflows, specifying functionalities, and suggesting enhancements for the product. Your role extends to establishing success metrics, leading the product design lifecycle, and aligning with cross-functional teams. **Key Responsibilities:** - Use personas and storytelling to communicate problem statements and solutions effectively - Lead user, customer, and SME interviews to gather insights - Document knowledge, workflows, and pain points from interviews - Synthesize discovery findings and prioritize actionable scope - Design user-centered solutions and specify functional requirements - Sequence releases of proposed enhancements and define success metrics - Lead team through product design lifecycle and readiness plan for market release - Collaborate with PM, engineers, and QA for effective communication and testing - Utilize design standards system and provide feedback for design system evolution - Work with UX researchers for continuous discovery efforts - Establish success metrics for solution validation and adoption - Grow within the RP Product Design Center of Excellence curriculum **Qualifications Required:** - Completion of UX coursework (degrees, certificates, bootcamps, online courses) - Portfolio demonstrating problem-solving skills, wireframes, prototypes, and release strategies - Minimum 4 years of experience in UX, design, or similar field - Empathy towards users and experience with user-centered design thinking - Interpersonal and facilitation skills for cross-functional collaboration - Ability to synthesize discovery findings and manage work within deadlines - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Detail-oriented, collaborative, and curious mindset - Problem-solving and analytical skills - Comfortable sharing work at all stages and iterating design - Background in humanities, architecture, or psychology-related field (preferred) - Proficiency in rapid prototyping tools and online collaboration tools - Leadership skills and mentorship experience - Interest in growing into a product strategist role RealPage values individuals who embrace a collaborative approach, have a can-do attitude, and possess the energy to achieve various levels of completion.
