Job Description

Experience:

Roles & Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end design activities including
design strategy, user research, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design
for web and mobile applications.
Collaborate with
product managers, developers, business analysts, and stakeholders
to deliver intuitive, user-centric design solutions.
Conduct and supervise
user research, usability testing, heuristic evaluations
, and integrate insights into design decisions.
Ensure all designs comply with
Accessibility (WCAG), GIGW 3.0
, and established
design system standards
.
Transform business requirements and user needs into
engaging, consistent, and user-friendly interfaces
.
Mentor and guide
Junior UI/UX Designers
, ensuring high-quality design deliverables and adherence to best practices.
Drive the creation and adoption of
design systems, reusable UI components, and responsive design frameworks
.
Stay updated with emerging design trends, tools, and technologies to improve product usability.
Create
social media creatives, newsletters, banners
, and other design assets as needed.
Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot
UX issues
with a data-driven approach.
Produce
wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows
, and other UX documentation.
Apply consistent styling standards regarding
fonts, color palettes, imagery
, and design aesthetics.
Collaborate effectively within a
multi-disciplinary team
.
Stay aligned with the evolving
tech and software landscape
to enhance design efficiency.

Desired Skills & Tools:

Proficiency in
Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch
, or equivalent UI/UX tools.
Understanding of
HTML, CSS, JavaScript
to improve collaboration with development teams.
Experience with
user testing and analytics tools
such as Hotjar, Maze, or similar platforms.
Strong grasp of
mobile-first
, responsive design, and UX best practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for resolving UX challenges.
Strong understanding of
style guides
, typography, color theory, and visual consistency.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Design, HCI, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, Computer Science
, or related fields.

Preferred / Desirable:

Experience designing for
government platforms, large-scale enterprises, or citizen-facing systems
.
Familiarity with
Agile methodologies
and collaboration tools such as
ClickUp, JIRA, Confluence, Trello
.
Diploma or Certification in
Interaction Design, UI/UX, or related disciplines
.
