Joseph and Rajaram carries out the outsourced business services practice through its partner Investment Consultants India Private Limited.

Headquartered in Chennai, Investment Consultants is a professional consulting firm dedicated to providing its clientele with a range of business services, especially back-office support in both domestic and multinational settings.

As we scale and strengthen our operations, we are looking for talented professionals to join our team! 🚀

This position is expected to provide back-office support to an US based supply chain company.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and process payment requests in compliance with company policies, contracts, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor cash balances and verified vendor banking details to mitigate fraud risk.
  • Coordinate with AP, Treasury, and Procurement teams to resolve discrepancies, manage urgent payment requests, and ensure accurate posting and reconciliation of payments in the ERP system.
  • Manage vendor onboarding by reviewing and validating documentation.
  • Resolve setup discrepancies with project teams and periodically cleaned up inactive or duplicate vendor records.
  • Coordinate the collection and review of monthly project-office bank reconciliations
  • Independently reconcile multiple HQ bank accounts with high transaction volumes and ensure timely closure of accounts.
  • Develop and maintain Treasury resources and training materials along with providing support during audits and delivering additional treasury and financial reporting support as required.


Qualifications for the Role:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting or any related field.
  • Experience of 5 to 7 years in the Accounting sector.
  • Proven intermediate accounting and banking knowledge.
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional analytical skills.
  • Proficient in working with the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience with ERP solutions, especially Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) is a plus.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
