Treasury Accountant

As a Treasury Accountant at Eaton in Pune, India, your role will be crucial in supporting Eatons GFA Treasury Accounting CoE. You will be responsible for overseeing various Treasury accounting activities, including capital market transactions, cash management transactions, and financial analysis. In addition, you will collaborate with global corporate functions such as Treasury, Tax, GFA CoE's, and IT to execute strategic plans for total Eaton, including finance transformation projects and system process improvements to drive efficiencies. Your responsibilities will also include overseeing accounting transactions of various Treasury centers, conducting Total Eaton Debt analysis and reporting, reconciling accounts, ensuring data accuracy, assisting with tax projects associated with legal entity changes, managing updates to the legal book, providing support for External (USGAAP & statutory) and Internal audits, and participating in special Treasury projects that support the goals of the finance transformation, including standardization and centralization. Qualifications: - Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - Minimum 2+ years of accounting/finance experience Skills Required: - Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP - Proficient use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint applications - Proficient use of accounting software (SAP/Oracle) - Basic knowledge or interest in VBA/Power BI/SQL would be preferential - Experience with Quantum Treasury system would be preferential - Ability to work well in a team environment - Strong time management skills - Excellent written and verbal communications skills - Strong analytical and organizational skills - Ability to adapt well to changes and/or drive changes - Ability to identify and solve problems - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Comfortable and confident in speaking with senior leadership - Can work easily with a diverse set of people to get things done with and through others,
