Role Summary

We are seeking a Treasury Accountant with healthcare industry exposure to manage cash, banking and payment operations. This role will ensure efficient cash management, fund transfers, bank reconciliations, treasury reporting for a healthcare business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily cash flow, bank balances, cash forecasting and transfers to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations and vendor payments.
• Maintain relationships with banks, manage banking agreements, get banking approvals, ensure optimal banking charges/cash management for healthcare entity.
• Reconcile bank statements, investigate variances, ensure correct posting in general ledger timely.
• Work closely with AP/Vendor Coordinator on payment schedules, ensure payment terms are optimised and cash outflows are managed effectively.
• Prepare treasury reports, cash forecasts (short term and medium term) and present to finance management for decisionmaking.
• Assist in optimization of working capital: manage cash conversion cycle, vendor terms, receivables followup (in collaboration with operations).
• Coordinate with GL/Accounting team for proper record of treasury transactions, ensure audit ready documentation.
• Support internal and external audit processes relevant to treasury/banking operations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience with exposure to treasury/cash management, ideally in healthcare or at least services industry.
• Strong understanding of bank operations, cash flows, forecasting, working capital management.
• Proficiency in accounting systems, strong Excel modelling skills.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure.
• Must be based in Bangalore or Trichy and able to work from office full time.
