Travel Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all operational aspects of domestic and international travel services.
• Oversee the execution of travel packages and itineraries.
• Ensure timely and accurate bookings for flights, hotels, transfers, and activities.
• Monitor ongoing tours and handle in-travel issues, changes, or escalations.
• Optimize operational efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining service quality.
• Supervise the team handling reservations, confirmations, rebookings, and cancellations.
• Ensure timely issuance of tickets, vouchers, insurance, and travel documents.
• Maintain accuracy in booking details and customer information.
• Lead and mentor the operations team, fostering a high-performance, customer-first culture.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training where required.
• Generate and analyze reports on bookings, revenue, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and travel regulations.
• Manage and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Handle escalated client issues promptly and ensure overall customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with sales and customer support teams for seamless service delivery.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in travel operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of domestic and international travel operations.
• Proficiency in travel systems (e.g., Galileo), hotel booking engines, and B2B portals.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Work Location: In-person (Ernakulam High Court, Kochi, Kerala)
Relocation: Candidates should be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
