Job Description

Job Title: EXIM Vehicle Manager Department: Operations / Fleet Management -VashiJob Responsibilities:Handle daily operations of vehicles used for export-import (EXIM) cargo. Arrange and manage both company-owned and market-hired vehicles. Coordinate with shipping lines, CFS, CHA, and clients for smooth cargo movement. Plan trips and ensure timely delivery of containers from port to destination. Maintain proper documents like LR, challans, port passes, and trip records. Monitor vehicle usage, fuel, and trip costs to control expenses. Solve problems like port delays, vehicle breakdowns, or client issues. Check loading and unloading of cargo at port, CFS, and client locations. Keep daily MIS/trip reports updated and share with management. Guide and support drivers to follow discipline, safety, and company rules. Key Skills & Requirements:Graduate / Diploma in Logistics, Transport, or related field. 3–5 years’ experience in transport operations, especially EXIM/port work. Good knowledge of port, CFS, and customs procedures. Ability to arrange and manage market vehicles quickly. Strong communication skills to coordinate with clients and drivers. Basic knowledge of MS Excel/ERP for reports and billing support. Problem-solving ability for handling on-road and port-related issues. Should be organized, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
