Transport Executive

As a Transport Executive, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the transportation and fleet operations of the company to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective services for employees and other business needs. Your responsibilities will include: - **Transport Management:** - Overseeing daily transport operations, including vehicle allocation and driver management for safe and timely commutes. - Ensuring proper fleet maintenance, service schedules, and monitoring vehicle performance to minimize downtime. - Coordinating transport schedules for employee pick-up and drop-off based on business needs and preferences. - **Fleet Management:** - Managing and optimizing the company's fleet of vehicles by ensuring timely repairs, fuel management, and compliance with local transportation regulations. - Maintaining records of fleet usage, expenses, and addressing any arising issues promptly. - **Safety & Compliance:** - Ensuring all transport operations comply with local traffic laws and company safety standards. - Regularly reviewing and improving safety protocols, including driver training, to enhance safety and reduce incidents. - **Cost Management & Budgeting:** - Collaborating with management to create and manage budgets related to transportation services and fleet maintenance. - Monitoring transport-related costs and implementing cost-saving strategies effectively. - **Vendor Management:** - Liaising with transportation vendors for outsourced services, ensuring compliance with contracts and service levels. - Negotiating with service providers for various transportation needs such as shuttle services and rental vehicles. - **Employee Engagement:** - Handling employee feedback on transport services, resolving complaints, and maintaining strong communication to understand and implement transportation improvements. - **Reporting & Documentation:** - Preparing regular reports on transport operations, including fleet utilization, costs, and enhancements. - Maintaining detailed records of transportation data, including vehicle logs and employee transportation requests. **Qualifications Required:** - Experience in transport or fleet management, preferably in an IT or corporate environment. - Proven track record in managing transportation and logistics operations, fleet management, and cost optimization. This role requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to work under pressure while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including health insurance and provident fund. The work schedule is day shift and morning shift at the company's in-person work location.,
