Application Transition Lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end

  Application Transition

  activities for large portfolios (50+ applications or 50+ FTE).
• Define and implement

  Application Transition methodologies

  , frameworks, and best practices.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and client SMEs to ensure structured transition execution.
• Oversee knowledge acquisition, documentation creation, handover processes, and readiness assessments.
• Ensure operational stability during and post-transition with clear checkpoints and governance.
• Work closely with cloud teams to support transition of applications hosted in

  cloud environments

  (AWS / Azure / GCP).
• Drive risk identification, mitigation planning, and timely issue resolution.
• Monitor transition progress, prepare dashboards, and provide regular status reports to leadership.
• Ensure compliance with security, quality, and process standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 8 years

  of overall IT experience.
• Proven experience handling

  Application Transition

  for at least

  50 applications OR 50 FTEs

  .
• Strong understanding of

  standard transition methodologies

  , planning, governance, and frameworks.
• Experience working in

  cloud environments

  (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple streams, prioritize tasks, and drive outcomes under tight timelines.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in Managed Services, IT Operations, or Application Support environments.
• Project management certifications (PMP / PRINCE2) are an added advantage.
• Experience with transition tools, documentation templates, and knowledge management platforms.
