Transaction Manager

As a Tax Consultant, your role involves deal structuring, group restructurings, and due diligence from commercial, tax, and regulatory perspectives. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading engagements for deal structuring, group restructurings, and due diligence, and interacting with client teams and counterparty teams - Participating in negotiations to defend positions, understand commercial constructs, and ensure the asks of clients are met - Providing implementation assistance on solutions offered - Reviewing and negotiating transaction documents, tax opinions, and other critical aspects for deal closure - Managing projects to ensure all deal elements are considered and closed - Making sharp and simple presentations - Mitigating risks in documentation, conversations, and presentations - Demonstrating sharp technical competence and troubleshooting capabilities Your qualification should include being a Qualified Chartered Accountant with post-qualification experience in direct tax of at least 2 years. Additionally, you should possess the following skills: - Thinking on your feet - Good and timely communication and drafting/writing skills - Ability to switch between business and technical conversations effortlessly - Capability to train the team and manage conversations with internal and external stakeholders Ideally, you should also have some regulatory understanding in addition to tax knowledge. This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience in MA Tax/Transaction Tax. The work location is in Mumbai, Maharashtra, and it is required to be in person.,
