Transaction Manager

Role Overview: You will be responsible for deal structuring, group restructurings, and due diligence from a commercial, tax, and regulatory perspective. Your role will involve leading engagements, interacting with client teams and counterparty teams, negotiating deals, providing implementation assistance, reviewing transaction documents, and ensuring all elements of the deal are considered and closed. Additionally, you will need to make sharp and simple presentations, mitigate risks, and demonstrate sharp technical competence and troubleshooting capabilities. Key Responsibilities: - Deal structuring, group restructurings, and due diligence - Lead engagements and interact with client and counterparty teams - Participate in negotiations and defend positions - Provide implementation assistance and review transaction documents - Ensure all elements of the deal are considered and closed - Make sharp and simple presentations - Mitigate risks in documentation, conversation, and work presentation - Demonstrate sharp technical competence and troubleshooting capabilities Qualifications Required: - Qualified Chartered Accountant - Post-qualification experience in direct tax of at least 2 years - Thinking on your feet - Good and timely communication and drafting/writing skills - Ability to move between business and technical conversations with ease - Good ability to train the team and handle conversations with internal and external stakeholders - Tax and ideally, some regulatory understanding Company Overview: (No additional details of the company were provided in the job description),
