Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Trainee Engineer in Mechanical & Civil Engineering located in Bengaluru. The Trainee Engineer will be responsible for participating in project management activities, performing research and development, and contributing to the design and implementation of mechanical systems using computer-aided design (CAD) tools. Daily tasks include collaborating with the engineering team to ensure projects are completed within scope, time, and budget.

Qualifications

·        Diploma, B.E. / B.Tech Mechanical Engineering or Civil

·        Strong academic background with a focus on engineering fundamentals.

Experience: 0-1 year. Freshers are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

 Technical Calculations: Perform calculations related to pipeline design, including

wall thickness, thermal expansion, buckling, and other related engineering concerns.

 Report Preparation: Draft detailed technical reports in Word, documenting

calculations, methodologies, and results for client and internal review.

 Design Basis Compliance: Ensure all designs meet the required design basis and

industry standards, working under the guidance of senior engineers.

 Collaborative Work: Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, to ensure

comprehensive project development.

 Quality Assurance: Review and validate calculations, ensuring accuracy and

adherence to project specifications.

 Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized records of all calculations,

reports, and design documents.

 Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, standards, and

technologies relevant to pipeline design.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

 Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering / civil or related discipline (recent

graduates welcome).

 Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals such as strength of

materials, mechanics, and design principles.

 Eagerness to learn tools and CAD software.

 Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail.

 Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage):

 Basic knowledge of software (e.g., Ceasor) through coursework or

internships.

 Familiarity with engineering software tools commonly used in pipeline

design (Abaqus, ansys, Caesar II solid works (cad +analysis)

 Knowledge of material properties and failure modes.

 High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in calculations and

report preparation.
