Could you be the full-time Traction System Engineer (TrSE) in our dynamic team?Take on a new challenge and apply your in-depth electrical engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, dedicated teammates.You'll define the architecture and functionalities of traction drives or auxiliary converter systems, ensuring they meet performance standards in compliance with initial requirements. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Product / project technical core team, PrEM, Sub-System Manager), allocate technical requirements, and much more.You’ll specifically take care of organizing, preparing, and leading system design reviews, but also participate in commissioning and manage it alongside the validation manager.We’ll look to you for:
- Collecting external and internal requirements and allocating them to technical teams
- Optimizing cost while allocating transverse requirements to various functions
- Ensuring consistency and compatibility between all specifications and participating in design reviews
- Building the Product Breakdown Structure and defining the validation strategy
- Identifying technical risks and supporting risk mitigation plans
- Ensuring the functional configuration is compliant with requirements
- Providing technical support during meetings with customers and throughout commissioning and reliability growth phases
