Tour & Tastings

Role Overview:

As a Winery Tour & Tasting Executive, you will be the face of the brand creating memorable guest experiences through engaging storytelling, curated tastings, and exceptional service. You’ll guide visitors through the vineyard and winery, educate them about our wines, and ensure they leave with a deeper appreciation of the craft and a bottle (or two) to take home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Experience & Service
• Deliver outstanding hospitality and ensure every guest enjoys a seamless tasting experice.
• Greet, welcome, and assist visitors at the Tasting and Tour Registration Counter.
• Provide clear information on tasting options, pricing, and batch timings.
• Lead guided winery tours and tasting sessions following established SOPs.
• Engage guests with the story of our brand, vineyards, and winemaking philosophy.
• Ensure tasting areas are well-prepared, clean, and visually appealing at all times.

Sales & Upselling:

• Recommend wines and merchandise post-tasting to drive sales at the bottle shop.
• Achieve and exceed monthly tasting and retail sales targets.
• Promote special experiences, offers, or events to enhance guest engagement.

Operations & Administration:

• Conduct daily inventory checks of wines, glassware, and tasting materials; maintain accurate records on Excel.
• Handle cash transactions and ensure error-free deposits and reconciliations at day-end.
• Prepare periodic sales and performance reports for review and audit purposes.
• Support the team in maintaining compliance with hygiene, safety, and service standards.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or management team.

Requirements:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for wines, hospitality, and guest interaction.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and point-of-sale systems preferred.
• Prior experience in a tasting room, restaurant, or hospitality setup is an advantage.
