About VVDN Technologies

Tool Designer

Role Overview

As a Tool Designer, you will be an integral part of VVDN’s mechanical engineering team, responsible for designing high-quality tools, jigs, and fixtures essential for manufacturing excellence. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet functionality, cost, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop detailed designs for tools, dies, molds, and fixtures using UGNX.
Work closely with manufacturing, quality, and product engineering teams to understand tooling requirements.
Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to create optimized tooling solutions.
Validate designs through simulations and prototype reviews.
Support tool fabrication, testing, and continuous improvement efforts.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality protocols.

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of experience in tool design
Proficiency with CAD software (UGNX preferred).
Understanding of manufacturing processes and tooling principles.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
