Job Description

In this role at ADDMAX TECHNOLOGIES PVT LTD, as an Industrial Mold Designer for Mobile Accessories/Mobile Cases, your primary responsibility will be to design production-ready 3D mold drawings for mobile phone cases and accessories using materials like TPU, polycarbonate, soft rubber, and leather. You will need to understand mobile model specifications, camera ring clearances, button flexibility, and mold tolerance to ensure the design meets the required standards. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop 3D designs for injection molding of smartphone cases, stands, etc. - Prepare files in CNC/milling-ready formats such as STEP, IGS, and STL. - Collaborate with factory teams to ensure fit, finish, and shrinkage accuracy. - Suggest technical improvements for durability, aesthetics, and efficiency. - Occasionally adapt designs based on device changes due to new phone launches. **Qualifications Required:** - Experience in mold design for mobile cases or small electronics. - Proficiency in CAD tools like SolidWorks, Creo, UG NX, and AutoCAD. - Understanding of DFM (Design for Manufacturing) principles. - Ability to think in minimalist, user-centered design. - Bonus: Experience working with TPU/PC injection molds.
