About The Opportunity

• Plan and deliver curriculum-aligned Social Science lessons (History, Geography, Civics) for assigned classes, ensuring clarity of concepts and alignment with CBSE/ICSE/state board standards.
• Create structured lesson plans, learning objectives, assessments, and remedial strategies to drive student achievement and measurable learning outcomes.
• Manage classroom behavior and foster an inclusive, student-centered learning environment that encourages critical thinking and responsible citizenship.
• Design and grade formative and summative assessments; maintain accurate academic records and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
• Integrate ICT tools and multimedia (smartboards, presentations, digital resources) to enhance engagement and differentiation for diverse learners.
• Collaborate with academic peers, participate in staff meetings, mentor students, and contribute to co-curricular activities and school events.
  

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• Graduate degree with a recognized B.Ed. / TGT qualification in Social Science; eligible for state teacher registration where required.
• Proven teaching experience (1–5 years) in K–12 Social Science; strong command over History, Geography and Civics.
• Excellent communication skills, classroom management, and ability to design assessments and differentiated instruction.
  

Preferred

• Experience with CBSE/ICSE curriculum and exposure to modern pedagogies (project-based learning, inquiry-led instruction).
• Comfortable using digital teaching tools (smartboards, LMS, Google Classroom) and preparing multimedia lesson resources.
• Willingness to engage in co-curricular programs, remedial coaching and parent-student counselling.
