About The Opportunity

• Plan and deliver comprehensive Social Science lessons aligned with national/state curricula for grades 6–10.
• Utilize interactive teaching methods—debates, projects, and field studies—to enhance student engagement and retention.
• Assess and evaluate student performance through quizzes, assignments, presentations, and formal examinations.
• Maintain accurate records of academic progress and provide constructive, timely feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to design cross-curricular activities and school-wide events promoting social awareness.
• Participate actively in parent-teacher meetings, staff development sessions, and curriculum review committees.
  

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in History, Geography, Political Science, or Education (B.Ed.).
• Valid TGT certification or equivalent state teaching license.
• Minimum 2 years of on-site teaching experience in Social Science for grades 6–10.
• Strong subject-matter expertise with the ability to simplify complex theories.
• Proven classroom management and student engagement skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  

Preferred

• Experience integrating digital tools (e.g., Smart Class, Google Classroom) into lesson delivery.
• Training in inquiry-based, project-based, or experiential learning methodologies.
• Additional certifications in special education or inclusive teaching practices.
