We are looking for: Test Engineer, You’ll make an impact by: System Configuration: Configure and customize the EnergyIP platform to align with project specifications and business requirements. Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EnergyIP with external systems such as Customer Information Systems (CIS), Head-End Systems (HES), etc. Testing: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including functional, regression, and performance testing, to validate system functionality and data accuracy. Issue Resolution: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, test cases, test results, and system changes. Support: Provide Level 2/3 support for EnergyIP-related incidents, working closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues promptly. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest developments in EnergyIP and MDMS technologies, recommending enhancements to improve system performance and reliability. This role is based in Chennai, where you’ll get the chance to work with teams impacting entire cities, countries - and the shape of things to come. Use your skills to move the world forward! BE/B tech degree in Computer/Electronics/Electrical Engineering or relevant field. Experience: 1-3 years Strong problem solving and software troubleshooting skills Experience in MDMS Testing and in application configuration. Working knowledge of UNIX environment with understanding of Shell/python Scripting Technical skills of large RDBMS like Oracle with sound knowledge of SQL Testing experience using API tools like SOAP UI or similar Ability to effectively communicate technical issues, prioritize them and enjoy working with customers Excellent people and communication skills Impeccable English speaking and writing skills.
