Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented MBD Applications Software Test Manager to lead and manage testing activities for Model-Based Design (MBD) software components in electric powertrain systems. The role involves defining test strategies, overseeing Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) testing using TPT and GTest, managing test teams, ensuring software quality and compliance, and collaborating across functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills to drive high-quality deliverables in a dynamic automotive software environment focused on electric propulsion technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Define and implement test strategies and plans for MBD software applications in electric powertrain systems.

Lead and manage test teams responsible for unit, integration, and SIL testing of electric propulsion control, energy management, and diagnostics.

Oversee development and execution of automated tests using TPT and Google Test (GTest).

Ensure thorough test coverage and traceability to software requirements specific to electric powertrain functionality.

Monitor and review progress of testing activities and ensure timely delivery of test milestones.

Identify risks in testing phases and plan effective mitigation strategies.

Ensure compliance with automotive standards such as ASPICE, ISO 26262, and MISRA.

Collaborate with software development, architecture, and project management teams.

Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and tools.
