Java Lead

Job Summary We are building a highly scalable, AWS-like cloud native API platform , empowering multiple teams to independently develop, deploy, and manage API services . As a Spring Boot Lead Engineer , you will drive microservices development using Spring Boot, CI/CD automation, cloud-native deployments, and Kubernetes orchestration while ensuring high availability, security, and observability . Key Responsibilities: Spring Boot Microservices: Design, develop, and optimize highly scalable Spring Boot microservices . DevOps & CI/CD: Implement Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD pipelines for automated deployments. Kubernetes & Containerization: Deploy, manage, and optimize Spring Boot services on Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE) . Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Use Terraform, Pulumi, Helm, and CloudFormation for infrastructure automation. Security & Compliance: Enforce IAM, OAuth, JWT authentication, and API security best practices . Service Discovery & API Gateway: Integrate with Kong, Traefik, or Istio for microservices discovery and routing. Observability & Performance: Implement monitoring, logging, and tracing using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack . Multi-Cloud & Resilience: Architect solutions for multi-region deployments, failover, and disaster recovery . Mentorship & Code Reviews: Lead a team of engineers, conduct code reviews, and enforce DevOps & microservices best practices. Required Skills: Spring Boot & Java: Strong expertise in developing and optimizing microservices. Cloud & Kubernetes: AWS, Azure, Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE). CI/CD & DevOps: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, GitOps. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, Helm, CloudFormation. Security & Authentication: OAuth2, JWT, Vault, AWS Secrets Manager. API Management: Kong, Istio, Traefik, GraphQL. Observability & Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, OpenTelemetry. Automation & Scripting: Python, Bash, Groovy. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Kubernetes operators, service mesh (Istio, Linkerd) Hands-on expertise in optimizing Spring Boot for high performance Familiarity with Chaos Engineering & fault tolerance strategies Strong leadership & mentoring experience
