The day-to-day:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to archExperienceitect, design, and develop microservices-based solutions using core Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and AWS API Gateway.
• Lead and mentor a team of backend and full-stack developers, ensuring delivery of high-quality code following best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in the entire software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
• Own and drive adoption of microservices patterns, RESTful API design, and integration with frontend applications and third-party systems.
• Perform thorough code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable, and secure code in line with architectural guidelines.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across distributed systems, ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Optimize application performance and scalability using proven techniques and cloud-native tools.
• Work closely with DevOps to establish CI/CD pipelines and implement containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP), and introduce innovative solutions to improve application development.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and technical excellence within the team.

Who you are:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in backend development, with at least 2 years as a technical lead or architect.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, AWS API Gateway, and microservices architecture.
• Solid understanding of cloud-native application patterns and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker), orchestration platforms (Kubernetes), and deployment on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Good understanding of both relational (Postgres, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
