Responsible for closure of testing activities, including sign-off and documentation. Experience in preparing reports on test results, defects, test coverage, and overall quality metrics. Resolves problems, extends, and modifies testing techniques, and/or applies new, innovative techniques to analyze and evaluate test engineering problems. Has ability to drive CI/CD Test Automation strategy. Responsible for managing, coaching, and mentoring team members. Managing stakeholders across other groups including but not limited to developers, technical operations, product management and support. Promote process, accountability, and discipline. Requirements and skills Years of Experience: 5-8 years in Software Quality and Testing. More than 3 years experience managing and leading quality engineering teams. Solid understanding of software development processes, including requirement gathering, analysis/design, development tools/technologies, release management/version control, contemporary testing methodologies and deployment management. Working knowledge on SaaS and Cloud. Experience in defect management, QA process, and methodology. Experience working in fast paced Agile environments with working knowledge of Scrum principles and methodologies. Ability to document and troubleshoot errors. Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. ALM, JIRA, Azure DevOps) and SQL. Excellent communication skills, written & speaking. Ability to work on a diverse team or with a diverse range of people. Certifications such as ISTQB or Scrum are desirable.
