Job Description

The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) role requires you to organize sales, collections, and sales development activities in your designated area. You will be responsible for implementing free sample distribution, maintaining farmer contacts, providing feedback on market conditions, and product performance. Your key responsibilities will include driving sales to the channel (Distributors & Retailers), ensuring timely collection of account receivables, tracking Distributors/Dealers performance, and taking care of market penetration, market share, and services in your operational area. You will also be required to monitor, consolidate, and submit monthly liquidation reports, manage relationships with Distributors & Retailers, and maintain trade channel discipline. As a TSM, you will liaise with Agricultural Department officials, collaborate closely with the market development team, and participate in demand generation activities when required. To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelors/Masters Degree in Agriculture, have 3 to 10 years of experience in Crop Protection/Agrochemicals, and possess strong planning and execution skills. Additionally, you should be capable of establishing business plans, have a good understanding of agronomic technical aspects, and be proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite. Self-management skills such as inspiring trust, adaptability, and self-development are essential. You should be able to work independently, maintain integrity, and deliver quality work with minimal supervision. Your strategy skills should focus on creating customer loyalty, while your interpersonal skills should enable you to build relationships and manage conflicts effectively with dealers and customers.,
