Role Summary:

The Territory Manager is responsible for leading sales operations, managing the field force (including Sales Managers and Interns), and ensuring business targets are achieved in the assigned region. This role demands strong leadership, field discipline, and an analytical approach to drive revenue growth.

 

*Key Responsibilities:*

• Sales Target Achievement

• Drive monthly and quarterly revenue targets across assigned locations.

• Take full accountability for closing any sales shortfall within the team.

 

*Team Management*

 

• Lead, train, and supervise a team of Sales Managers and Interns.

• Monitor daily activities and ensure performance alignment with business goals.

• Field Sales & Data Collection

• Ensure proper execution of on-ground sales visits, client interactions, and verified data collection.

• Guide team on productive field planning and timely reporting.

 

*Business Operations*

 

• Ensure smooth execution of business workflows and territory-level operations.

• Handle escalations and provide timely resolutions.

• Reporting & Analysis

• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on team performance.

• Analyze conversion ratios, lead quality, and activity levels to identify gaps and take corrective action.

• Performance Ownership

• Personally step in to bridge target gaps if team performance falls short.

• Maintain motivation, discipline, and accountability among the team.

 

*Requirements:*

• Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred)

• 4-5 years of field sales and team management experience

• Strong leadership, communication, and reporting skills

• Experience working with interns or freshers is a plus
