Job Title: Territory Manager Agri Input Sales
Department: Sales & Marketing
Reporting To: Area Sales Manager /Sales Head
Location: TBD- Uttar Pradesh
Industry: Agri Input (Crop Protection / Crop Nutrition / Seed / Cattle Feed)

Job Purpose:
To achieve sales targets and ensure the effective promotion, distribution, and market development of the company s own agri
input products within the assigned territory by working closely with Business Associates, farmers, and influencers.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Target Achievement
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for assigned Private label products in the allocated territory.
- Execute product-wise and area-wise sales plans.
- Ensure consistent order booking, billing, and collections from Business Associates.

2. Market Development
- Identify and onboard new Business Associates to expand market reach in the allocated territory.
- Organize farmer meetings, field demonstrations, and promotional campaigns to create product awareness.
- Conduct village-level farmer contact programs and Kisan melas.

3. Channel Management
- Maintain strong relationships with existing Business Associates.
- Monitor inventory, secondary sales, and credit discipline through Business Associates.
- Support Business Associates with product knowledge and marketing materials.

4. Field Operations
- Conduct regular market visits (minimum 20 days/month) to monitor field performance and product usage.
- Collect competitor activity data pricing, schemes, product performance, etc.

- Report crop stage, pest/disease trends, and product feedback to ASM/GM.

5. Reporting & Coordination
- Submit daily sales reports (DSR) and activity plans through prescribed formats or mobile app.
- Coordinate with the Area Sales Manager / Sales Head and marketing team for planning field activities.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to credit policy.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Achievement of Sales & Collection Targets.
- Expansion of Business Associate Network.
- Number of Field Activities Conducted (demos, meetings, trials).
- Market Share Growth and Product Visibility.
- Customer Satisfaction & Feedback.

Qualification & Experience:
- Education: B.Sc. (Agriculture) / M.Sc. (Agriculture)
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in Agri Input Sales (Crop Protection, Crop Nutrition, Seed, or Cattle Feed)

Skills & Competencies:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management ability.
- Sound knowledge of local crops, soils, and farming practices.
- Basic computer and mobile app usage for reporting.
- Self-motivated and target-driven.

Compensation:
- Salary: As per company norms (Fixed + Incentive + Allowances).
