Role Description

The Tender Specialist is responsible for lead-level cost estimation, complex quantity take-offs, and the overall management of the pre-award phase. This role is critical in ensuring that bidding reflects a competitive edge while maintaining healthy future cash flow and profitability.

Core Responsibilities:

• Strategic Documentation Review:

  Perform an in-depth, expert-level study of all tender documents and technical drawings to identify project risks and opportunities.

• Advanced Quantity Take-off:

  Conduct accurate, high-level quantity take-offs to determine precise material and labor requirements for large-scale projects.

• Comprehensive Cost Estimation:

  Prepare complex cost estimates and pricing strategies to support competitive and profitable bidding.

• Technical & Field Coordination:

  Liaise with site teams and engineers to reconcile quantity estimations with physical measurements and architectural designs.

• MIS & Strategic Records:

  Maintain and optimize an organized Management Information System (MIS) for all tender-related data to track bidding success rates and historical costs.

Required Skills:

• Experience:

  Minimum 1 year of specialized experience in interior projects and tendering.

• Expert AutoCAD:

  Essential for interpreting intricate architectural/structural drawings and extracting high-precision measurements.

• Advanced MS Excel:

  Mastery of complex formulas and data analysis for creating sophisticated bidding and estimation formats.

• Detail Orientation:

  A meticulous approach to documenting technical drawings and documentation reviews
