Job Description

Role Objective:

To manage the end-to-end tendering process, ensuring timely submission of competitive bids aligned with client specifications, commercial strategy, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze tender documents including scope of work, technical specifications, drawings, and commercial terms
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, planning, and finance teams to gather inputs for bid preparation
  • Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and pricing sheets based on project requirements and market benchmarks
  • Identify risks, exclusions, and assumptions, and incorporate them into the bid with appropriate disclaimers
  • Draft and compile technical and commercial proposals, ensuring clarity, compliance, and professional tone
  • Liaise with vendors and subcontractors for quotations and technical data to support bid accuracy
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client interactions to clarify scope and tender expectations
  • Monitor tender portals and track upcoming opportunities relevant to the organization’s capabilities
  • Ensure timely submission of bids with complete documentation and adherence to client formats
  • Support post-bid clarifications, negotiations, and handover to execution teams upon award

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Electrical or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of experience in tendering or estimation within EPC, infrastructure, or industrial sectors
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, and tendering software (e.g., Candy, SAP, ERP tools)
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work and manage multiple tenders simultaneously
  • Knowledge of contract types (EPC, Item Rate, Turnkey) and commercial terms (LDs, payment milestones, etc.)

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience with government tenders and e-procurement platforms (e.g., GeM, CPPP)
  • Exposure to techno-commercial evaluations and bid strategy formulation
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and align them with commercial scope

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
