Key Responsibilities- Sales Engineer(Industrial Electrical & Automation) Solution & service selling: Support the Sales Manager by understanding customer requirements and proposing suitable ABB drives, motors, control panels, Fluke instruments and service packages (spares, repairs and maintenance). Generate leads: Prepare technical presentations, explain product features and scientific processes, and generate high‑quality leads for both products and services. Manage sales cycle: Follow up on prospects, secure orders, negotiate prices, arrange deliveries and contribute to upselling and cross‑selling opportunities for equipment and after‑sales services. Technical liaison & support: Discuss equipment needs with customers, collaborate with design and programming teams, provide after‑sales support, and recommend improvements or upgrades. Market feedback: Log client feedback, collect competitive intelligence and share it with the Sales Manager to refine product and service offerings. Qualifications & Skills Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical customers and match requirements to solutions. Strong communication, presentation and customer‑service skills. Self‑motivated, able to generate leads independently and build lasting relationships. Own vehicle for local travel and willingness to travel to customer sites across assigned territories.
