Tendering Engineer / Costing Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Leads from Private clients and good rappo with clients.
• Lead the end-to-end tendering process for Government, PSU, and Private Civil construction projects.
• Analyze tender documents, drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Develop pricing strategies, cost estimates, and bid submissions in coordination with planning, QS, and execution teams.
• Prepare techno-commercial proposals, BOQs, and pre/post-bid clarifications.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors/vendors to gather inputs for accurate costing.
• Manage prequalification (PQ) documentation, EMD, BGs, and other statutory submissions.
• Conduct risk analysis and ensure tender compliance with contractual/legal requirements.
• Present bid strategies and final submissions to senior management for approval.
• Track competitor activities, market trends, and pricing benchmarks.
• Mentor and lead the tendering/estimation team to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with business development for lead generation and pipeline management.

Qualifications & Experience

• B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
• Master’s in Construction Management / Business Administration (added advantage).

• 10+ years of experience

  in tendering, estimation, or contracts in the civil construction industry.
• Strong exposure to both

  government & private sector projects
