Role Overview

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Tender Manager who can lead the end-to-end tendering process. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in filing government tenders, managing documentation, and working on GeM and other e-procurement portals.

This role is ideal for someone who loves precision, deadlines, and structured work — and knows the tender world inside out.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and shortlist relevant tenders from government departments, PSUs, and private entities.
  • Manage the entire tender lifecycle — from opportunity identification, documentation, submission, and follow-ups to final award.
  • Prepare, review, and compile technical and commercial documents as per tender requirements.
  • Handle all activities on Government e-Marketplace (GeM) and other e-procurement portals.
  • Coordinate internally with technical, finance, and legal teams for inputs and supporting documents.
  • Ensure timely submission of tenders and maintain compliance with all eligibility and documentation norms.
  • Maintain a comprehensive tender tracker and database for records and audits.
  • Keep track of government policies, industry trends, and upcoming opportunities in the solar/renewable sector.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate in any discipline (MBA or Engineering background preferred).
  • 4–6 years of experience in tender management, preferably in solar, renewable energy, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong experience in government tendering and GeM portal operations.
  • Excellent understanding of E-tendering, bid preparation, and submission processes.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, PDF editing, and online procurement tools.
