Job Summary:
The Sales Manager for Water Treatment STP WTP ETP is responsible for driving sales growth and achieving sales targets within the assigned territory. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and providing technical and commercial support throughout the sales cycle. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of water treatment processes and experience in selling solutions related to water, sewage, and effluent treatment plants.**Key Responsibilities:**- **Sales Strategy Development:**- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company targets in the water treatment sector.- Identify potential markets and customers for water treatment, sewage treatment, and effluent treatment solutions.- **Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:**- Identify and engage with key decision-makers in industries such as manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, food and beverage, and municipal sectors.- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.- Provide tailored solutions based on client needs and ensure customer satisfaction.- **Business Development:**- Explore new business opportunities and expand the customer base by networking, attending industry events, and leveraging existing relationships.- Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals to clients.- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals in alignment with company policies.- **Technical Support:**- Work closely with the technical team to provide customers with the necessary support during the sales process, including technical presentations, product demonstrations, and site visits.- Stay updated on the latest technologies and trends in water, sewage, and effluent treatment processes.- **Sales Planning & Forecasting:**- Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts, reports, and market analysis.- Monitor and analyze competitors, market trends, and industry developments to stay ahead of the competition.- **Team Collaboration:**- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns targeted at the water treatment industry.- Work with the project management and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction post-sale.**Qualifications & Experience:**- Bachelors degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales, with a strong focus on water treatment, STP, WTP, or ETP solutions.- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.- In-depth knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes, technologies, and industry standards.- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.**Preferred Skills:**- Experience working with municipal and industrial clients.- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to water treatment.- Familiarity with project financing and contract management.
