Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Tendering & Bid Management: Review tender documents including RFPs, RFQs, BOQs, drawings, and specifications. Coordinate the preparation and submission of competitive bids within deadlines. Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal departments for technical and commercial clarifications. Prepare pre-qualification documents, technical proposals, and compliance matrices. Maintain and update the tender database and bid status reports. Estimation & Quantity Surveying: Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and BOQs from drawings and technical specs. Conduct rate analysis for materials, manpower, and machinery. Develop cost estimates and support value engineering processes to optimize project cost. Support in vendor quotations analysis and subcontractor pricing validations. Assist in preparation of project budgets and cost plans. Contracts & Commercial Support: Assist in preparation and review of contractual documentation and scope of works. Track project cost vs budget and prepare periodic cost reports. Support billing, invoice verification, and preparation of variations and claims. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong understanding of tendering processes and bid submissions. Expertise in quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, and cost estimation. Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying software (e.g., Candy, CostX). Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under pressure. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Qualifications: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field. 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in tendering and QS functions within construction, infrastructure, or solar power sector.
