Telecaller – Job Role (Visa Consultancy)

Position Summary

The Telecaller will be responsible for directly selling visa assistance services to customers, with a strong focus on tourist visas. The role includes handling inbound leads, qualifying prospects, pitching visa services, and closing sales. It requires excellent communication skills, persuasive selling ability, and quick follow-up to ensure a high conversion rate from enquiry to paid customer.


Key Responsibilities

  • Contact fresh leads within 5 minutes of enquiry.

  • Handle 60–80 calls/day (mix of fresh leads + follow-ups).

  • Respond actively via WhatsApp & email to engage and convert leads.

  • Explain tourist visa assistance services clearly (requirements, process, benefits).

  • Maintain professional communication in English, Hindi & Malayalam.

  • Qualify genuine clients and filter out casual enquiries.

  • Sell visa assistance as per monthly target.

  • Schedule, confirm, and track appointments for further consultation when required.

  • Keep accurate records of all leads and conversions in CRM/lead tracker.

  • Nurture warm leads with follow-ups and offers until closure.

  • Build long-term trust to encourage referrals and repeat clients.

  • Provide feedback to marketing team on lead quality and campaign improvements.

  • Submit daily sales reports (calls made, connections, visa services sold).

  • Track personal KPIs and review progress weekly with management.


🎯 KPIs (Management-Set Targets)

  • Daily: 60–80 calls + 40 WhatsApp follow-ups.

  • Monthly:

  • Handle 300–400 raw leads.

  • Sell 100 tourist visa assistance services.

  • Convert 30–50 consultations into paid clients.

  • Lead Response Time: <5 minutes.

  • Follow-Up Attempts: Minimum 5 per lead before closing.


🧩 Key Skills Required

  • Excellent verbal & written communication (English, Hindi, Malayalam).

  • Strong sales & persuasion skills with ability to close deals.

  • Objection handling and customer service mindset.

  • Familiarity with WhatsApp Business, CRM tools, and email.

  • Patience, persistence, and consistency in follow-ups.

  • Prior sales experience in Visa Consultancy / Travel / Tourism industry is an advantage.

  • Bachelor’s degree (any field).

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales / telecalling / travel services.

  • Freshers with excellent communication and sales drive may also apply.
